For students in medicine or biochemistry at the Technical University of Munich, we provide lectures and practical courses within their curricula. Furthermore, medical students can complete part of their practical years (PJ) within our institute.

The full residency training in laboratory medicine can be completed at our institute. We also offer the complete training to become a certified Clinical Chemist (Klinischer Chemiker), recognized by the German Society for Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Klinische Chemie und Laboratoriumsmedizin, DGKL). Medical laboratory assistants (MTLA) are trained at our institute in close cooperation with the Staatliche Berufsfachschule für Medizinische Technologie für Laboratoriumsanalytik at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU).
